Tonga!

At the beginning of 2019 my friend went to Tonga for a two year stint as an adventurer, and I decided that I had to share in a tiny bit of her adventure 🙂

Thanks once again to the brilliant island specials at Air New Zealand I booked my ticket and jumped on a plane for 5 days of sunshine and sea (hahaha – reality bites big time!), with thanks once more to my manager for making this really easy to do.

They speak English! And drive on the left! Already this is more relaxing than my last adventure, though it would help if I knew more Maori – it’s similar enough to Tongan that you could muddle through if everyone is patient enough. Will put that on my list.
